We have a special policy tailored for Pilot Launches which protects the pilot whose Association owns the vessels, and upon which they are passengers.

There are two ways we can offer the protection:

• Provide a very high limit of Medical Payments and include Lost Wages as an ancillary endorsement if desired.

• Consider Pilots as passengers and provide the full Protection & Indemnity offered any passenger of a properly insured vessel carrying passengers for hire.

We do not generally regard Pilot Associations as presenting a Moral Hazard and wish to serve the operation in the fashion that makes the principals most comfortable. The Hull portion of the Pilots policy uses the broadest form available.
